Empower for Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to empowering women and combatting poverty. We provide local immigrants, refugees, and African artisans the tools to become financially successful, and confident through the development of their craft, their spiritual and their confidence. With God’s grace, we humbly serve our artisans and their communities.

Our Mission Since 2015
Empower for Hope brings opportunity and hope to vulnerable individuals, whom we embrace, encourage, educate, and employ. We provide holistic mental, physical and spiritual support while fostering each person’s talents. Together, we collaborate to create beautiful handmade quality products that can be enjoyed by many and in turn provide sustaining income. We engage conscientious consumers and donors in the United States to illustrate how their dollars bring dignity and economic opportunity to vulnerable men and women while providing a better future for their families.

Local Partnerships
We support women refugees in Charlotte, NC by partnering with individuals who desire a custom skirt or wholesale partner who sell our garments through their outlets.

Our roots began in Burundi by supporting an artisan group, Amahoro Handcrafts by selling their products in the United States. We continue to support these artisans and building projects in Burundi, Africa through donations and proceeds from our garment sales in the U.S. Watch this short video to see what we are envisioning of the land purchased in Burundi.
We partner with local North Carolina organizations from time to time to further our mission to provide support and assistance to those in need.
